On X a few days ago, conservatives were engaged in a heated intergenerational feud about whether young Americans should pursue working class jobs in the service and restaurant industries.
The debate started after conservative activist Chris Rufo used Panda Express and Chipotle salaries as a metric to argue the strength of the U.S. economy. Baby Boomer conservatives accused Generation Z conservatives of acting entitled for wanting to pursue higher status careers and for wanting to avoid working class jobs.
